They like Autumn in Scotland. Edinburgh was the place they met, and they were back in its cobbled, winding streets to get married, in October. Inevitably, there was a slight drizzle in the air after their ceremony at Lothian Chambers. Laura pulled her purple Harris Tweed shawl tighter and walked hand in hand with her new husband, the short distance from the registry office to the Caves. Past more cobbled stones, ancient history and old buildings who have witnessed so much. And quite a lot of paparazzi tourists!
The Caves had just the right reminiscene of the nightclub in which they met each other, during their student days. And this is the way they chose to party, rather like it had all begun.
Their reception was all about the atmosphere, the people, the music, the humour. Their guests joined in and handed around the glow sticks, so that they could “find each other in these dark caves”. Fairylights, candles flickering against the grey exposed stone walls, and laughter - this was a magical atmosphere. And a groom squirming during the best man's speech!
Couldn’t be happier for you Laura & Richie!
