Their pastel colour scheme suited this very sweet couple and their romantic wedding at a church in Espelkamp followed by a reception at Berggasthof Wilhelmshöhe. Angelika and Matthias chose this venue carefully because of its scenic location and private atmosphere.
I was thrilled to hear that they had booked Blumobil Lydia Gerbrandt for the flowers and decorations, and I loved all the modern touches to the floristry. Just look at how she had adorned the vintage Adenauer Mercedes!
I had the pleasure to accompany both groom and bride during "getting ready" and to capture the beauty and personal moments as they prepared for the ceremony in the company of their best friends.
The ceremony held at a local church with family connotations was a highlight, I've never, ever seen a groom cry so much :D It was very touching and a testimony to how much this moment meant to them!
For the portraits, we took the car for a quick spin and just enjoyed the surrounding landscape - wide fields, forests and apple trees.
The party, laughter and dancing continued into the night. So many happy moments!
