Last week I was reminded of this rather wonderful wedding by an email from Rittergut Remeringhausen, as they were asking me for some photos. This was a lovely compliment and I had wanted to blog Carolin & Christians photos for so long, so this served as the perfect reminder!
It was another summery day in June last year. I met Carolin and Christian for their "first look" at Rittergut Remeringhausen, where I was completely in awe of the gardens. The amount of roses in bloom was quite staggering! Readers of my blog know that I love old buildings with character so this was right up my street.
After their couple photos, we went to a little local church for their ceremony. Music played a big part in their wedding, as Caroline sings in a choir and Christian is a professional musician, so there were performances by various friends throughout the day!
The celebration continued at Rittergut Wichtringhausen where we enjoyed their wedding meal and partied into the night after a traditional "Wiener Walzer" as the first dance.
This was a sublimely elegant wedding and I thoroughly enjoyed the warm atmosphere.
