Catherine and Jay had suggested Chatelherault for their engagement shoot, which I thought was a brilliant idea as I love the location with all the trees (as any of my couples will testify, I have a thing for pretty trees). However, I completely forgot that on a sunny Sunday afternoon in April, the place would be packed with people going for walks and soaking up the rare sunshine. I actually had to hunt for a parking space when I arrived! Fortunately, Chatelherault is a big place and we found some quiet corners for some romantic photos... I'm so excited for their wedding in St John the Baptist Church in Uddingston and Dalziel Park Hotel in Motherwell in July. This is not only an extremely local wedding for me - as the church is literally round the corner from our home and my husband attended there as a child - but also, Catherine is the daughter of my wonderful childminder Hilary (who is just the very best childminder there is - I simply wouldn't know what to do without her!). So the pressure is on to get this one right! :)
