Caroline & Fraser / Wedding at 29 Private Members Club Glasgow, Scotland

So first a bit about me, but I cannot resist. Glasgow has a special place in my heart. I studied there and also had my first job after uni there, incidentally around the corner from 29. It was wonderful to be back in the city centre of Glasgow, and you would be hard pushed to find a more central venue, or stylish, than 29

My day started with Caroline and the girls, who were styled beautifully by Lesley Neil Make up Artist and The Hair Boutique Renfrew. Soon it was time to get into THE DRESS and Caroline had chosen a gorgeous lace one with a huge train (after admitting that she had originally planned to get something quite understated :). She really looked amazing and ready for the Oscars!

Their humanist ceremony was conducted in the unusually lit ceremony room against a fireplace. I love the candle lit atmosphere.

The celebration continued on the roof terrace with a champagne reception. For their couple photos, of course we used the Royal Exchange Square and the Gallery of Modern Art as the backdrop.

Soon it was time for dinner in the classically decorated room, with pale pink as the key colour, tall candelabras and striking typography in their stationary with a nod towards their shared love of music. I enjoyed the speeches, in particular Fraser's touched me deeply. He is quite the public speaker and was talking eloquently about their love, but in such a down-to-Earth and realistic way, that I just know this couple will weather all storms. Very beautiful!

The party continued with the absolutely EPIC "The Big Papas" playing live music and a lot of dancing. Literally. The whole time I was there, the dance floor was packed.

A lovely Spring wedding... and the sun was shining for most of the day! The beginning of a wonderful marriage.
