It was a bright sunny day in early March when Nicole and Karl got married in the sumptuous surroundings of Mar Hall. I first caught up with the girls, who got ready in the bridal suite, which is beautifully appointed with a very elegant gold colour scheme. I loved the little bows on the girls dresses! And of course, Nicole's Louboutins. A perfect glam choice!
The ceremony took place in a room overlooking the Firth of Clyde. The location of Mar Hall at the coast means that apart from stunning views, you do get some rather strong winds and on a cloudless March day, it can also be rather chilly - but Nicole and Karl braved the temperatures for their photo shoot outside. I do believe that Nicole's fingers were starting to turn blue at the end of it, but it was most definitely worth it!!
The speeches were delivered by Nicole's sisters and their mum, who donned some fake moustaches (as a hint towards the traditional "father of the bride" speech), absolutely brilliant. Karl also followed with some heartfelt words. I left them enjoying their meal and delicious looking donut tower from Dunkin Donuts. Yum!
Nicole & Karl, it was an absolute pleasure to photograph your beautiful day and to get to know you a little! I love how everything was so carefully chosen. Hope you enjoy looking back at these photos and reliving the memories!
